This single stud fitting with a stainless steel ring is designed to be used with L Track, also called Airline Track. The steel ring is best used with hook-style end fittings as found on tie down straps, such as wire hooks or S-hooks. This stud fitting easily slides into airline track, simply put your thumb inside the ring and push down on the "stud" while lifting the clip with your index and middle fingers. You will see that the round disk has been ejected from the clip. Insert this disc into the desired round cut-out of your L track. Slide the fitting either direction so it is halfway between two of the track openings and let the clip fall on both sides of the fitting in the 2 round slots on both sides of the stud. Assembly Break Strength of this stud fitting is 4,000 lbs. see details
